POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

POSITION TITLE:       Coordinator, Employed Worker Training Program

 

DEPARTMENT:          Academic & Student Affairs          SITE:   Health Education Center

 

SALARY SCHEDULE:  APM                GRADE:  A

 

BASIC FUNCTION:

 

Implements and coordinates the activities of the WorkNet Employed Worker Grant.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Services, Business or Health-related field.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Two (2) years related experience.  Community relations and case management experience preferred.

 

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Knowledge of post secondary education and community needs.  Knowledge of the process involved in developing and implementing a grant project.  Ability to work with students, faculty and employers.  Ability to relate to participants and provide advice concerning their progress in the project.  Ability to make presentations to community.  Written and verbal communications skills.  Computer skills.
