POSITION DESCRIPTION
 
POSITION TITLE: College-wide Testing Coordinator              
 
DEPARTMENT: Academic & Student Affairs                         SITE: DO

BASIC FUNCTION:
Plans, organizes and directs secure administrative activities relating to all testing programs and initiatives for admissions, competency, and graduation (exit). 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
·               Provides leadership for interpreting student, individual and group testing results and enhance student learning.
·               Provides leadership, direction, and supervision for testing college-wide.
·               Manages staff who administer and proctor testing services.
·               Plans, develops, implements and monitors department goals, policies and procedures for all SPC testing.
·               Works collaboratively with campus associate provosts and other administrators in the hiring, supervision and evaluation/assessment of testing staff and initiatives.
·               Maintains state and federal policies and procedures for admission, competency, and exit testing and provide training to department staff 
and other academic and student affairs staff accordingly.
·               Maintains cooperation with deans overseeing English as a Second Language (ESL) and developmental education, the curriculum department, 
and advising/MAP staff regarding placement testing score interpretation and placement guidelines/practices.
·               Coordinates with the disabilities department for students who need testing and other accommodations and prepare staff to make arrangement to serve students. 
·               Serve as a resource person for campus personnel on Oracle Campus Solutions issues related to testing and student records.
·               Prepares and manages the budget for college-wide testing.
·               Develop procedures within the Campus Solutions framework to facilitate quality functional services.
·               Serves as a communication liaison between campus staff, technical experts (AIS), Helpdesk, and Oracle Campus Solutions functional team.
·               Serves as a member of the Pinellas Education Articulation Committee (PEAC) and provides  testing updates for K-12.
·               Collaborates with the College’s Dual Credit Program Coordinator to provide College Readiness Testing to high school students. 
·               Coordinates outreach testing services at feeder high schools and other locations. Coordinates testing services to non-SPC students for various programs and initiatives.
·               Serves as the College’s official Testing Administrator for local, state, and national testing policies and guidelines.
·               Serves as the College’s official representative for testing services administration with local, state and national agencies.
·               Performs related duties as required. 
 
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
Master’s degree (preference given to candidates with specialized courses in Assessment, Measurement and Statistics).
 
 
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
 
Two (2) years experience in the field related to assigned area.
 
 
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
 
Knowledge of assessment and statistical methods and interpretation of results. Knowledge of Oracle Campus Solutions system relating to the area of responsibility.
Knowledge of SPC rules and procedures relating to testing programs and initiatives for admission, competency, and graduation. Knowledge of test administration
procedures and rules. Ability to plan, develop, implement and monitor department goals, policies and procedures for all SPC testing. Written and oral communication
skills. Organizational and interpersonal skills. Computer skills.
