POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:  Coordinator, Staff Development

 

DEPARTMENT:      Human Resources                    SITE:  Epi- Services

 

SALARY SCHEDULE   APM                                         GRADE:  A

 

BASIC FUNCTION:

 

Designs/develops/implements professional development curriculum, facilitiates collegewide training opportunities, and manages professional development events.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Four (4) years related experience in responsible administrative work in an educational institution or comparable related experience.

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of the practices and procedures involved in staff development and professional training. Knowledge of the College’s overall operations, organization, and objectives. Ability to design, develop, implement, and conduct professional development training. Ability to work with senior leadership and maintain good working relationships with college staff. Ability to handle sensitive situations in an appropriate manner. Excellent interpersonal skills.  Excellent computer skills.  Excellent writing skills.
