POSITION TITLE: Manager, Marketing
 
DEPARTMENT: Institutional Advancement                           SITE: Epicenter
 
SALARY SCHEDULE: APM                                                   GRADE: B
 
BASIC FUNCTION:

Under the direction of the Director of Institutional Advancement, works collaboratively with administrators and Institutional Advancement staff in planning, supervision and implementation of programs of public information, marketing and recruiting, public relations, advertising, printing and internal/external communications for the college.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.

 
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
 
Four (4) years marketing experience with background in writing and in creating and executing marketing strategy. Experience in marketing higher education preferred. 

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in database management for targeted e-mail and print marketing.  Ability to work both independently and as a team player; be an effective communicator with all constituents.
Ability to conceive and communicate creative ideas and strategies. Writing abilities with editorial experience. Associated Press style writing. Understanding of marketing, content, graphic
design, and electronic media, including social networks. Project management, time management and organizational skills.  Analytical and problem solving ability. Interpersonal 
communication, mediating skills, relationship building, and customer service skills. Computer skills. Digital process and related software helpful.
