BASIC FUNCTION:
Performs responsible, complex administrative
and marketing work that involves the coordination and/or the delivery of
specialized training programs in corporate training. Proposes, develops,
and delivers training programs to established corporate clients. Monitors
all phases of instructional delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates noncredit and credit programs
in Corporate Training, including seminars and industry-type educational
activities.

Develops training proposals to meet the
specific training needs of established clients.

Coordinates the development of customized
training materials.

Creates and maintains specialized data,
records and reports relating to the program.

Works with all phases of college (bookstore,
business office, etc.) in connection with course scheduling and registration.

Assists the public, clients, students,
faculty and staff by providing information concerning the project or services
of the program.

Attends meetings, seminars and conferences
to explain or receive information relative to the work assignment.

Represents the administrative supervisor
at meetings and in discussions with clients.

Assists the supervisor in planning and
maintenance of the program.

Supervises the work of a clerical staff
and/or student assistants.

Interviews and recommends faculty for
courses.
-
Maintains budget records and purchase
orders.
-
Interacts with business community in identifying
problems, assessing educational needs and developing courses and programs.

Responsible for assuring that the unit
to which assigned is operating within college rules and regulations and
applicable laws.

Works with clients to develop quick response
grants.

Performs related duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s degree relating to the
area of assignment. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Four (4) years experience in a support
or marketing position in an adult training program. Experience with and
knowledge of technology as it relates to training.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of microcomputer applications.
Excellent communication and management skills. Knowledge of curriculum
development and marketing strategies for Continuing Education. Knowledge
of sentence structure. Knowledge of word usage. Skill in reading comprehension.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
