HISTORIC ARMENIA
July 12-August 20, 2010 (course dates).
July 24-August 13, 2010 (travel dates). |
Explore historic Armenia.
The Armenia study abroad program is designed to have students take College Algebra or Intermediate Algebra.
The primary goals of the courses are to introduce a mathematics curriculum while immersed within the Armenian culture. Outside of class time, your knowledge will be enhanced through excursions to architectural sites and archaeological ruins, such as the Temple of Helios found at the City of Garni, since building and ancient site-development efforts exemplify the direct applications of the mathematical concepts.
This will be a 6-week program with 19 days of travel in Armenia. View our trip itinerary and view our image gallery.
PROGRAM COST ESTIMATES
In order to help keep the group on schedule; students are responsible for purchasing transportation together with the group.
For planning purposes, we have provided a detailed cost estimate summary that includes a rough estimate of what you can expect to pay for your travel. The cost estimate summary also can be used to calculate other program costs (tuition, etc). Please let us know if you have any questions.
