Engineering Technology Support (cert.)

In accordance with the Interinstitutional Articulation Agreement between the Pinellas County Schools’ Board of Education and the St. Petersburg College Board of Trustees, this program-to-program agreement provides opportunities for students to receive college credit for appropriate work completed at East Lake High School’s Academy of Engineering. St. Petersburg College agrees to award college credit to students as specifically defined below.

Introduction to Engineering Design                                1 cr.

EET 1084 Introduction to Electronics                                      3 cr.

Computer Integrated Manufacturing                              1 cr.

ETD 1320C Introduction to CAD                                           3 cr.

Digital Electronics                                                        1 cr.

ETI 1420 Manufacturing Processes & Materials                     3 cr.

Engineering Design & Development                              1 cr.

 ET 1114C Digital Fundamentals w/Lab                                  4 cr.

Students will not be charged any fees for the awarding of hours covered by this agreement. A grade of “P” will be given for the college credit. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in the subject area and a 2.5 overall grade point average for credit to be issued. Students must enroll at SPC as a degree seeking student within 3 years after graduation to be eligible to receive the articulated credit. This Tech Prep Articulation Agreement replaces any previously existing agreements relating to the aforementioned program
This agreement will be reviewed every three years.
