INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY

A.A.S Degree

In accordance with the Interinstitutional Articulation Agreement between the Pinellas County School's Board of Education and the St. Petersburg College Board of Trustees, this program-to-program agreement provides opportunities for students who have completed the postsecondary certificate programs, registered apprenticeship programs, or state certification programs to receive credit in the Industrial Management Technology program, as identified in the following tables. Credit will be awarded on the basis of a 75 clock hour:1 college credit ratio with a maximum of 24 credits.

Class A Water or Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate Issued by the State of Florida.

Class A Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, or Stormwater Management System Operator Certificate issued by the Florida Water and Pollution Control Operator Association.

International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Signs and Markings Specialist and Traffic Signal Technician Certificate Program — Level 3.
Florida Department of Transportation Maintenance of Traffic --- Advanced

State Certification Programs for which 12 Credits will be Awarded by SPC
Class B Water or Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate issued by the State of Florida.

Class B Water, Wastewater Collection, or Stormwater Management System Operator Certificate issued by the Florida Water and Pollution Control Operator Association.

International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Signs and Markings Specialist and Traffic Signal Technician Certificate Program — Level 2.
Florida Department of Transportation Maintenance of Traffic --- Intermediate

State Certification Programs for which 6 Credits will be Awarded by SPC
Class C Water or Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate issued by the State of Florida.

Class C Water, Wastewater Collection, or Stormwater Management System Operator Certificate issued by the Florida Water and Pollution Control Operator Association.
International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Signs and Markings Specialist and Traffic Signal Technician Certificate Program — Level 1.
Florida Department of Transportation Maintenance of Traffic --- Basic
 

The three year requirement to enroll at SPC in the Industrial Management program will be waived for holders of the Public Works certificate(s) upon written documentation on letterhead by a designee of the student’s employer that the student's skill set is current and/or proof of certification or recertification.

 
Students will not be charged any fees for the awarding of college credits covered by this agreement. A grade of “P” will be given for the college credit. Students from PTEC must enroll at SPC as a degree seeking student within 3 years after graduation to be eligible to receive the articulated credit. This Career Pathways/Tech Prep Articulation Agreement replaces any previously existing agreements relating to the aforementioned program


This agreement will be reviewed every three years.
