Florida Department of Education Brick & Block Masonry Articulation
Statewide Agreement
Admission Requirements: Students entering the Associate in Applied Science and or the Associate in Science Program in Building Construction Technology must have a standard high school diploma or its equivalent, or a CPT Eligible Certificate of Completion. Students must meet the requirements of State Board Rule 6A-10.0315(3), FAC (College preparatory testing, placement, and instruction. --). Students earning scores less than those listed shall enroll in college preparatory communication and computation instruction.
Validation
Mechanisms: Licensure examination, industry certification,
portfolio, local assessment, or evaluation which may include review
of certification completion. Credits may be awarded on the condition
of completion of courses at the granting institution.
School
district technical center and community college faculty committee
met and agreed to propose that the 1600 clock hour
program in Brick & Block Masonry shall
articulate 3 (three) college credit hours to the AAS/AS
Degree in Building Construction Technology. Articulation
Three (3)
credits will be awarded upon the student receiving a PSAV
certificate of completion from the Plumbing Technology Program. The
courses at St. Petersburg College for which the students will
receive credit are:
