| The Humanities and Fine Arts Program offers a broad range of courses to meet the Fine and Visual Arts needs of our students. Our program seeks to increase students' awareness and appreciation of human creativity through an examination of cultural and aesthetic perspectives from the birth of civilization through the modern era to encourage intellectual curiosity, future academic study, awareness of cultural diversity, and the development of applied artistic skills. Students are provided the necessary foundation in art to move in to four-year programs. Our course offerings also provide enriching opportunities for non-art majors to broaden their cultural knowledge through the visual arts. |
