Note: the Chemistry sequence is the preferred option because it also satisfies the prerequisites for BCH 3023, which is part of the major. If the chemistry prerequisites are not taken prior to admission to the College of Education, they must be completed during the first two semesters.

Students who have earned a previous AA or bachelor's degree should consult an advisor for transcript review.

ADDENDUM: Additional Graduation Requirements

Cultural Diversity: Six credits with an international or diversity focus. This requirement may have been satisfied in the first 60 semester hours. 

Foreign Language: Two years in high school or one year of college instruction in a single foreign language.

NOTES: For admission and graduation a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher is required. Questions regarding admissions, please consult with the Dean of College of Education.

Completing all program requirements, including ESOL, demonstrating competency in the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPS) at the pre-professional level, passing all sections of the Florida Teacher Certification Examination (FTCE), and passing the final internship are conditions of graduation.
