This certificate is designed to incorporate the theory and applications necessary to become a credentialed fire investigator. Students who complete SPC's Certificate Program in Fire Investigator will become eligible to take the competency test for Fire Investigator I which is administered by the State Fire Marshal's Bureau of Fire Standards and Training. These courses apply towards the AS degree in Fire Science subplan Fire Investigator I.
