This certificate is designed to incorporate the theory and applications necessary to become a credentialed fire officer. Students who complete SPC's Certificate Program in Fire Officer Management will become eligible to take the Certificate of Competency test for Fire Officer I through the Florida State Fire College. Upon successful completion of the state exam, the student will become a certified Florida State Fire Officer. These courses apply towards the AS degree in Fire Science subplan Fire Officer I.
