St. Petersburg College entered the
corporate training business in 1985, with a handful of computer courses
offered on weekends. Corporate Training (CT) began offering a variety of
computer and management classes on-site at local corporations for their
employees. The business community's response was consistently positive,
as CT worked with business and industry to provide low cost,
high-quality training. CT quickly became a key partner in the economic
development of Pinellas County and remains committed to assisting area
businesses and industries facing the challenges of a changing workplace.
Today, Corporate Training has moved into
the newly created EpiCenter. Partnering in this center are various
divisions of Pinellas County, a multitude of high-tech educational
programs offering economic, workforce and community development
resources for the county, the region and the state. Trust, value,
