![]() Fast Track Courses for Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Principles of Operations Management - 32 hours Description The Principles of Operations Management” course is a 32-hour instructor-led classroom program that introduces the attendee to the APICS body of knowledge concepts and applications. This course content aligns with the APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM) examination, which is the first of five exams required for the certification, Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM.) Additionally, this course will assist preparing a CPIM candidate for the other four examinations. This course differs from a Review course in that all of the concepts are thoroughly taught with the assumption that the attendee is being introduced to the material for the first time rather than an exam review course. The course explores the basic concepts of Operations Management in a supply chain. The attendee will cover a complete overview of the material and information flow, from internal and external suppliers to and from your organization.
