This seminar provides
the building blocks of philanthropy. These include: the reasons individuals and
corporations give, the value of volunteers to an organization, basic donor
prospecting and stewardship, the role of the fundraiser in an organization, and
the basics on securing different types of gifts. Attendees will develop a
better vision of their role in securing funds for their organization and will
take with them some basic tools to help motivate them forward with their
fundraising career.

role the non-profit executive has in creating and implementing an organizational
vision to met the goals of the non-profit organization, as well as strategies

- Ways to build leadership and management skills to provide a healthy organizational culture among staff and volunteers.
- Strategies for building a culture of respect through the development of strong lines of communication.
