Student Life and Leadership

From our Welcome Back parties to Exam Snack Attacks, SPC Downtown fills each term with social events. Students can identify their “inner leader” by attending monthly “Keys to Success” leadership seminars; and students can apply their leadership skills by joining the Downtown Delegates, who assist in planning upcoming student activities, volunteer for community projects and more.

SPC Downtown also offers a student discount program for local shopping and dining. Just show an SPC Downtown ID card to participating vendors and receive discounts on food, clothing, museum tickets and other great services.

Downtown Delegates

Do you want to make an impact on and off campus? Then you may want to consider becoming an SPC Downtown Delegate. This group of students meet monthly to discuss upcoming student activities, local volunteer opportunities, leadership development, and more. It's a chance to meet new friends, have fun and make a difference Downtown.

Recent events and fundraisers included: leading a food drive for the St. Petersburg Free Clinic Food Bank, in which more than 85 food items were donated; creating holiday care packages to send to the U.S. troops in Iraq; and raising money for theAmerican Cancer Society's Relay for Life .
