At the Downtown facility, Dr. Jerry Cade, academic and career counselor, is available to help you with any of the following career issues:
- Learning more about your personality style - your interests, skills, values and behavioral traits.
- Discovering which occupation would be the best career goal (which occupation best matches your personality style) and how to prepare for your new career goal.
- Selecting the right college major to help you prepare for your career goal.
Finding employment during college or after graduation.- Locating an internship during college.
- Preparing a resume and employment cover letters.
- Preparing for the interview.
- Locating occupational and labor market information.

Course-based career guidance. If you prefer the structure of a credit course rather than individual counseling, then consider our 3 credit Career and Life Planning course (SLS 1301) - either in a class environment or via the college's e-Campus online program.
