The public is invited to a community forum about St. Petersburg College’s plans for a new Midtown education center. The forum will be at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 16 at the Enoch Davis Recreation Center at 1111 18th Ave. S, St. Petersburg.
Welcome to St. Petersburg College Downtown Center
Since SPC Downtown opened in 1998, thousands of students have enjoyed the convenience of taking St. Petersburg College freshman and sophomore level classes in downtown St. Petersburg. The SPC Downtown Center is a "one-stop," full-service educational facility, serving over 3,000 students per semester, from application to graduation.
Now housed with the new SPC Downtown Arts Cultural Center and just steps from BayWalk, students can take advantage of numerous restaurants, shopping, movies, entertainment, and culture, all within walking distance.
We invite you to join us in the center of it all, where class, culture and convenience come together.
Downtown Parking
St. Petersburg College students taking classes downtown may purchase a parking hangtag, enabling them to park in the SPC parking garage. Hangtags may be purchased at SPC Downtown.
Hangtags are $50.00 per semester for fall and spring terms. The cost is $25.00 for summer term and evening-only students. A hangtag is required to park in the parking garage beginning the first day of classes.
SPC Downtown Arts Cultural Center
SPC, a leader in the revitalization of our cultural community, recently completed the SPC Downtown Arts Cultural Center at the Downtown Center, featuring:
- A new theater for the American Stage Theatre Company
- Shared box office for cultural partners
