If you have a working knowledge of computers and the Internet, our online courses may be a good fit for you. To take an online course, you'll need:

• A computer that meets eCampus' technical requirements as listed on the technical information page
• Internet connection (some courses may require cable connection)
• E-mail account
• Current Web browser

Online courses start and end according to the regular SPC session dates, but individual classes have no pre-set meeting schedule. Students and instructors interact online via e-mail, bulletin boards, and chat rooms. Your course syllabus, assignments, and most tests will be available online, and you'll submit your completed work electronically.

"Teleweb" courses combine video lesson content and online instruction. When the session begins, the courses become accessible via the Student login page. Students taking these courses have a number of options for viewing the video content:

• Watch the lessons when they are broadcast--on the SPC cable channel and most Pinellas County cable systems--according to the video broadcast schedule
• View the lessons online from the Video Online web site
• Tape lessons and view them later
• Check out the tapes for viewing at any SPC library (Campus locator map)
• Rent the entire series of course tapes for a one-time nonrefundable fee through RMI Media Productions.
