How to begin your course

Your online course will become accessible on the first day of the session. (See the SPC calendar for dates.) As soon as the session begins, log into your course and follow the instructions for getting started.

To access your course(s):

  • On the eCampus home page, click on Student Login in the left navigation bar. Then on Login Now.
  • On your ANGEL home page, log in by entering your username and password. (If you need help, see how to log in.)
  • From the list of courses, click on the title of the one you want to access.

On the first day of classes, spend some time exploring your virtual classroom. Visit the Welcome Page for your course, and review the Welcome Page navigation tutorial

  • Click on the Content Tab at the top of the page and explore the links to course notes, quizzes, discussions, assignment drop boxes, and other features.
  • Introduce yourself to your instructor by sending an e-mail, using ANGEL's email tool.
  • Try out the bulletin board system by posting a welcome message to your classmates.
  • To log out of your course, click on the Logout link in the upper right corner of the screen or close your browser.
  • Take advantage of the many tutorials available to help you work with ANGEL. Go to the ANGEL tutorials index for a complete list.

Don't overlook the Help files within ANGEL. Familiarize yourself with them now, so that when you're in the middle of an important assignment you can find the help you need easily.
