Curriculum and Instruction - Visual Disabilities Education
Florida State University
Master’s - Blended
In addition to preparing teachers of children with visual impairments, the M.S. in Visual Disabilities, through FSU's Satellite Program in Visual Impairment, is designed to train teachers in various areas of specialization. You develop individualized programs based on your areas of interest including orientation and mobility, early childhood education for individuals with visual impairments, education of visually impaired individuals in transition and education of visually impaired individuals with profound disabilities. There is a critical teacher shortage of professionals in this area of education throughout the United States, including metropolitan and rural areas.
