  Learn how to join SALT and get FREE tips and online tools to help you manage your money and student loans.


• New Federal Pell Grant Limits
  Effective for 2012-13, you can only receive Federal Pell Grant funding for the equivalent of 12 full-time terms, starting from the first time you received Federal Pell Grant funding.
• Need money for college?
  Apply for Foundation Scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year by May 25. Letters of recommendation must be received by June 1.
• Summer 2012 Financial Aid Application
  If you want to receive financial aid for the summer term, you must complete a Summer Aid Application in addition to the FAFSA. Enroll for summer classes early, as summer financial award amounts are based on actual enrollment.
• New FAFSA Verification requirements
  If your 2012-13 FAFSA application is selected for Verification, make sure you understand what documents you need to submit to complete the application process. Learn about verification and federally-mandated changes to the process.
