The Counseling and Advising Staff is fully committed to helping you succeed.

A professional counselor and academic advisors are available to assist students in the decision-making process regarding admission into a health program, career and academic planning and personal choices. Academic Advisors can assist students in choosing appropriate coursework to achieve their academic and career goals. In addition to academic advising, counseling services and referral are provided to anyone interested in pursuing a balance of school, work and life issues.

Hours of Operation

Located in the Administration Building at the Caruth Health Education Center, the counseling and advising area is available on a walk-in basis on:

Monday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. – Noon

Please note that limited services may be available up to an hour before closing, depending on the number of students already waiting. To be sure you will see an advisor, please arrive at least one hour before closing. The shortest wait times are in the morning. Hours are extended during peak registration periods.
