EMS 1059C - Emergency Medical Responder (formerly EMS First Responder)

Open to anyone interested in learning more about EMS and health occupations in general, including high school and dual enrollment students, age 16 and over

                    u   Excellent pre-EMT course, and will definitely make you more successful in EMT class!

                    u   This is a combined lecture/lab course, with lots of hands-on experience

                    u No prerequisites other than meeting SPC college admission requirements

                    u    Includes American Heart Association BLS training and card

                    u Excellent introduction course to EMS and other first response roles such as firefighters, police, lifeguards, military etc.

This is a 3 college credit course, and will be offered in the Fall Session on Fridays from 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
