- Paramedic to RN Transitional Program * -
Progression requirements for the Paramedic
to R.N. Transitional Program are the same as the
AS Degree Program, with the
following additional requirements:
- Must have completed 25 general education/support credits. These MUST include 8 hours of anatomy and
physiology, 3 hours of English and 3 hours of PSY 1012. The other 11 hours are the student's choice from required
general education and support curriculum.
- Must have received an A.S. in Emergency Medical Services or have taken equivalent general education / support
courses.
- Must be currently state certified paramedic and possess a valid Health Care Provider C.P.R. Certificate.
- Advanced Certificate Programs - Potential students must posses a Florida R.N. license prior to participating in any Advanced Technical Certificate course. Course availability and certificate requirements may vary and are subject to change.
* fully transferable to a BSN Degree at SPC or any Florida university
