Monocytes

• Largest cell, absent or present in low #’s

• Nuclei can be different shapes, oval, kidney-bean shaped, multiple indentations, amoeboid

• Moderate amount of cytoplasm, typically blue-gray, may have multiple, variably sized vacuoles.
