SPC iTunes U
Instructions For Faculty
1. Go to www.spcollege.edu/iTunesU, enter your SPC Username and Password and click the "Login" button.
2. If you have not already installed iTunes, the "Download iTunes" Web page will appear. Refer to the "How to Install iTunes" instructions before proceeding.
3. If you have already installed iTunes, a "One Moment Please" window will appear, which you can close as soon as iTunes has opened.
4. Chose the Category that your course fits under.
5. Navigate to the section that your course fits under and then click on your course.
6. To add podcasts to your course, click "Upload and Manage Files " from the menu in the top right of the page.
7. Click on "Add New File".
8. Click the "Browse" button.
9. Locate and select the podcast file you would like to add to your course. Then click the "Open" button.
10. After you click the open button you will see an "In Queue" message. The amount of time that your file is "In Queue" depends on it's size.
11. After uploading, you will see your podcast listed.
12. Clicking on the pencil icon will allow you to edit the track information.
13. Make sure the "Name" field has the correct title of your podcast (Note: this is what students will see) and enter your name in the "Artist" field. **The title of your podcast should be the title you want students to see - not "Title of your podcast" and likewise, the Artist name should be your name, not "Your Name."
14. Select the checkmark when you are finished editing your track information.

16. When you are finished uploading and editing the track information, select the "Done" button.
17. Upon returning to your course , you will see your podcast listed. If Students click the "Get Tracks" button, all of the podcasts will download to their computer. If they click the "Subscribe" button, they iTunes will download all future podcasts that you upload. If they click both the "Get Tracks" button and the "Subscribe" button, they will download all current podcasts and iTunes will automatically download any future podcast you upload. *Note: Students can also download individual tracks or videos by selecting the "Get" or "Get Movie" button.
18. To share the link to your section in iTunes, right click on your section's name and select "Copy Link." You can also copy the link for an individual podcast by right clicking and selecting "Copy Link."
19. Include the following directions for your students:

21. Keep copies of all podcasts you upload to SPC iTunes U as a back-up.
