I received a bachelors in history from Florida A&M University and a masters in history from the University of California at los Angeles (UCLA). I am presently on schedule to receive a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership in December 2014. In addition, I am a retired Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army, having served in airborne and ranger units. I am a graduate of the Army Command and Staff College and former instructor at West point.
I like teaching and passing knowledge on to leaders of tomorrow. It is my passion to leave my mark through others achieving their academic goals in life; African American and United States History are my areas of expertise.
My hobbies are bowling (200 + average), tennis and cycling. I am married to Terri with three children and a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
