Biography
I received my Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Florida A & M University and my Master/s degree in Comparative Politics and International Relations from the University of South Florida. I was an instructor at Dunedin High School and recently retired as K-12 Social Studies Supervisor for Pinellas County Schools.
I love politics and want to share my appreciation for our society and help students understand what their rights and responsibilities are in a democratic society. We are living in exciting times and I want the students to understand how the changing global society has an effect on their daily lives.
I believe that all students can be successful if they are inclined to do so. Relationships are very important and I believe that it is my responsibility to create an inclusive, diverse and safe learning environment for all of my students.
I am married, have one son, also an educator and a lovely granddaughter. I love reading, working with young people and all types of music.
I also serve as the MAX (Men Achieving Excellence) coordinator for the Tarpon Springs campus.
