Biography
Michael Jalazo is the Executive Director of the Pinellas Ex-Offender Re-entry Coalition (PERC), which works toward the successful reentry of prisoners to Pinellas County, Florida from the Department of Corrections or the Pinellas County Jail. For much of the previous decade, he was a creator of and the Program Administrator for a Life Skills project entitled Project New Attitudes with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Jalazo is also an adjunct professor at St. Petersburg College, and the Head Football Coach at Northeast High School, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Through this course students will become familiar with theory, organization, principles, and function of the American national government, and various elements within the political system that work to shape policy outcomes. This course partially satisfies the writing requirements outlined in the General Education Requirements. Credit is only given for one of the following: POS 2041 or POS 2050H or IDS 2103H. 47 contact hours. |
