Biography

My name is Cameshia Ware.  I am a married mother of 11 years and we have 3 children.  I have worked in the public sector for the past 12 years and I currently work for Pinellas County Schools as a teacher.  My education Includes: A Bachelors of Science in Human Services from Springfield College as well as a Masters of Science in Counseling and Psychology with a minor in School Counseling from Troy State University. I am currently pursuing my Doctorial degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. Some of my hobbies include reading, track, shopping, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy bowling, swimming and working out.

I am committed to preparing students for their journey in education, equipping them with essential tools to succeed in their chosen career. I have been in your seat before so I know the challenges that face students from day to day.  Simply put, I am here to help you finish what you have started and Ethics is the foundation and basis for helping make that happen. Together we will help to create ethical solutions and strategies to help you succeed in your academic success.

Credits: 3 Description: "G" Prerequisites: (ENC 0025 and REA 0017) or EAP 1695 or appropriate score on the SPC placement test. This course is a practical overview of key issues, questions and concepts in applied ethics. Special emphases are placed on the historical development of ethical thinking, a variety of ethical approaches and on multicultural aspects of ethics. Students will also examine a variety of personal, social, and professional ethical issues and problems and learn methods of resolving them through the use of critical thinking skills, sound ethical reasoning and legal and professional codes. Students are provided an active learning experience, increased student interaction and opportunities for independent research into ethical issues of personal interest. This course has a substantial writing requirement. This course partially satisfies the writing requirements outlined in the General Education Requirements . Credit is not given for both PHI 1600 and any of the following courses: PHI 1602H, PHI 1603, PHI 1631, PHI 2621, PHI 2622, PHI 2635 or PHI 2649. 47 contact hours.
