Howdy:
My name is Brian Werner. I have been here at SPC since June 2009, first serving as part of the Innagural Flex Team for the college. For 2 years, I worked in various departments such as Advising, MAP, International, Testing, Central Records, Foundations, and Human Resources. After the Flex Team disbanded in July 2011, I moved over to Seminole Campus as an Instructional Assistant III in Communications. I have a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of South Florida, but I did the majority of my college coursework at Clemson University in South Carolina. I have what you would call a wide range of experience. I got my start with the NY Yankees, where I spent 6 years working as the Director of Baseball Operations & Pro Scouting. From there, I got into Real Estate, working as Operations Director & Property Manager for several companies before finally coming to SPC.
While my background is not as an Instructor, I have several years of experience working with students here at SPC. I enjoy the challenge that comes with helping individual students accomplish their goals.
