Biography
Cherie has been an adjunct instructor with St. Petersburg College since 1999. She started at the Clearwater campus and has since enjoyed working at all SPC locations. "If there are students and computers, I'm there." Teaching the Intro to Educational Technology course has become a passion as preparing young educators for the classroom of the future is exciting and challenging. She often teaches Basic Computer and Information Literacy classes and enjoys working with individual applications such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint, etc. through the Corporate Training department. www.spcollege.edu/ct
Since 1992 Cherie has been the owner/instructor of an on-site computer instruction business, Software Sense, serving local business and residential customers. She's also an adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg.
Prior to her transition into technology she worked as a teacher, counselor and program manager serving the needs of Florida teens in crisis. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Cherie has enjoyed being a resident of Clearwater since 1986.
