Maria Escott is an Assistant Professor of Composition/Literature in the Communication Department at the Seminole Campus. She is a doctorial candidate. She holds a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. She started her career with SPC in 2000 as an adjunct instructor . She also served in an administrative position with SPC as the Coordinator for the International Language Institute. She has taught ESOL classes, basic writing, SLS, and composition classes for SPC. She enjoys travel and learning. She resides in Clearwater with her husband and three children.
