The Learning Support Center (LSC) at the Midtown Center provides academic support services for all St. Petersburg College students.
Mission of the LSC:

  • To help students develop and improve their academic skills.
  • To provide lab instruction for college-prep reading and writing.
  • To aid students in developing self-confidence, responsibility, and competence in their academic work.

Procedures for the LSC:

  • When coming into the lab, be sure to present your Student ID and sign in at the front desk.
  • Be sure to bring a floppy disk or a flash drive to save your written works.
  • Tutoring is done on a first come, first served basis and we do not make appointments.

Make Up Testing

 

We administer make-up tests.  Your instructor may elect to use our make-up testing center.

 

Please remember to bring valid photo identification and adhere to time and date restrictions agreed upon with your instructor.

 

All tests must be completed thirty minutes prior to closing.

 

Make-up testing is handled by Dr. Hildegarde Shirley, Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
