Principal Leadership Academy

The role of the principal is the single most important variable in the transformation of effective teaching and learning and improving student achievement. And that is why the principal leadership development was one of the major initiatives of the NCTT. The NCTT partnered with the Florida Association of District School Superintendents to provide the Florida Principals' Executive Leadership Development Program for High Quality Schools. Six, two-day training sessions were conducted. The sixth training was conducted at, and by, NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida on its past, current, and future explorations, research, and applications to mathematics, science, technology and geography.

Assistant Principal Leadership Academy

As a follow-up to the shortage of principals in high-need school districts across the nation, the NCTT sponsored a week-long National Assistant Principal Leadership Academy for 100 Assistant Principals from New York, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. This Academy will be conducted annually.
