Head Coach Ryan Beckman
Ryan was born and raised in Dunedin and has been active in Pinellas County baseball as both a player and coach for the past 18 years.
In the summer of 2004, Ryan began his coaching career as an assistant coach
at his alma mater, national power Dunedin High School. While there, he helped lead the Falcons to its first state title in
44 years. Ryan became head coach in the fall of
2009 at Calvary Christian High School, where he laid the foundation for an up
and coming program in Pinellas County.
Ryan spent three years with the Toronto/Dunedin Blue Jays' front
office, and another three years at the Winning Inning Baseball Academy.
At TWI, he helped train several established Major Leaguers and played a pivotal
role in coordinating the Big East/Big Ten Challenge, a weekend event
featuring college baseball programs from two storied athletic conferences. This
experience has allowed Ryan to flourish in both the administrative and tactical
sides of coaching at the collegiate and professional levels of the game.
He is rapidly becoming one of the rising young stars in collegiate coaching in Florida.
After receiving his associate degree from St. Petersburg College, Ryan
went on to earn his B.A. in Business Management from the University of South
Florida. When he is not on a baseball field, Ryan enjoys golfing or
spending time with his wife, Kathi, and their dog Zoe.
