At the end of each term, students that meet all graduation requirements
will automatically be awarded their degree or certificate. You are no
longer required to apply for graduation. The name on your diploma will
be the name we have in the SPC student system and will be sent to the
address on file. You must register to attend the commencement ceremony
and/or if you would like a more formal name printed on your diploma,
i.e. Deborah in lieu of Debbie or William in lieu of Bill and tell us
the address to mail it to. To register, log in to MySPC
, choose My Learning Plan
then choose Register for Commencement
and complete the commencement checklist.
Before you complete the Graduation Checklist, verify your graduation status with your academic advisor to ensure your
Fall 2016 Commencement Deadline
The deadline to get your name in the commencement ceremony program is Friday, Oct. 28.
Please note if
you have elected to restrict the release of directory information, your
name will NOT be printed in the commencement program book. If you wish to have your name printed,
please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you miss the Oct. 28 deadline,
you can still participate in the ceremony but will NOT see your name in the

- Log in to MySPC
- Choose My Learning Plan, from the top navigation
- Choose Register for Commencement
- Complete the checklist and submit. You will receive an auto-generated email to your student email address to validate your registration and with information pertaining to the commencement ceremony.
