American History Research Club

Members of this club gain insight on proper research and scholarly work through their study of American history.

Biology Club

This honor and professional society is for biological science students and features activities designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment and investigation in biology and to promote the dissemination of information and new interpretations among students of the life sciences.

Chikoku Club

This club is designed to promote a cultural understanding of Japanese culture – both traditional and pop, as well as explore the concepts and history of video games.

Golden Key International Honour Society

This club is designed to acknowledge student who are achieving high honors – encouraging them to continue with this achievement – at SPC. Members of this club also offers leadership in our community through service-oriented activities on and off campus.

Honors College Consortium
The mission of the Honors College Consortium is to provide an exemplary education and build an intellectual community that encourages creativity, deeper understanding, leadership qualities and critical thinking skills for our most talented and motivated students.

Intervarsity Christian Fellowship
Advisor: Carmen Simpson
Intervarsity Christian Fellowship is an interdenominational, multi-ethnic, worldwide movement of students and faculty who are committed to serving Jesus Christ as lord.

International Club
Advisor: Angela Cole This club is designed to explore different cultures, unifying our student body, faculty and staff through a celebration of diversity.

Legal Studies Society
Advisor: Rachel Bennett
This clubs helps students in the Paralegal program gain opportunities for involvement in pro-bono and charitable activities, allows them to cooperate with state and local bar associations, as well as other law-related associations, and helps students to support and carry out the programs, purposes, aims and goals of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.

Phi Theta Kappa, Tau Zeta Chapter
Advisor: Julie Gomez
Phi Theta Kappa is an internationally recognized honor society for two-year college students whose goals are scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. Membership requirements include: a 3.25 GPA or higher, completion of 12 college-level credit hours at SPC and payment of one-time membership dues.

Positive Directions Association
Advisor: Shirley Crumbley
This club assists the Women on the Way Challenge Center by encouraging adult students who have been out of an educational or vocational environment to adjust to their new role and environment. The club also encourages and promotes social and educational involvement, and members act as mentors for adult students.

Science Adventurers’ Club
Advisors: Monica Lara and Carl Opper
Members of this club participate in scientific exploration and research through field trips, volunteering and other activities.

Silent Titans
Advisors: Beth Carlson
Students in this club work to create an ideal learning environment for SPC students to experience deaf culture and learn and practice American Sign Language.

Student Florida Education Association

This club, designed for future educators, offers professional development workshops, networking and leadership opportunities, as well as the opportunity to meet other pre-service and in-service educators.

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association acts as the official liaison between the student body and the college administration.

SPC Mentors are a group of elite students who help to promote SPC to prospective and current students, creating a positive image of the college.
