BRC 3203 BANKING REGULATION AND COMPLIANCE 3 credits

Prerequisite: BUL 2241 or BUL 2131 or BUL 3310. This course introduces the student to the basic laws governing the banking system in the United States with a focus on compliance and documentation. Topics covered include the history of bank regulation and its constitutional basis, evolution of the regulatory scheme, operational obligations, funds transfers, lending, and data security. 47 contact hours.
