CTS 2322 LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION II 3 credits

Prerequisite: CTS 2321. A continuation of Linux System Administration I, this course is designed to teach students the skills they need to effectively administer Linux servers. Students will plan, install, and perform support tasks related to their individual Linux server. Students will configure basic network protocols and share resources . Major topics covered include file system , printers, Common Unix Printing Service (CUPS), SAMBA, iptables networking and network services, software administration, X Windows, mail and troubleshooting. 47 contact hours.
