NUR 3786 COMMUNICABLE DISEASE PREVENTION AND CONTROL 3 credits
Prerequisite: RN status or admission to the BSN program or permission of the Dean. This course focuses on communicable diseases with public health impact at the local, national and international levels. The epidemiology of infectious disease and the role of infection control professionals are included. Principles, practices and ethics of communicable disease prevention and control are discussed. 47 contact hours.
