INT 1480 INTERPRETING SPECIALIZED TOPICS 3 credits

Prerequisites: ASL 1160C, ASL 1300, INT 1941 all with grades of "C" or better. This course will focus on the development of vocabulary and sign equivalents in specialized settings: medical, mental health, technical, religious, educational, theatrical; and other settings as deemed appropriate by the instructor; idiomatic and multi-meaning ASL/English words will be studied. 47 contact hours.
