POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

POSITION TITLE: Associate Vice President, Baccalaureate Programs

DEPARTMENT: Baccalaureate Programs and University Partnerships      SITE: DO

SALARY SCHEDULE: A&P - GRADE: F

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for four-year accreditation process including developing four-year accountability standards and effectiveness indicators for SPC's Baccalaureate Programs and University Partnership agreements. Assisting the Senior VP for Baccalaureate Programs in institutional planning, functions as Development officer for four-year programs, grant, foundation and private external funding. Provides direction and support to the current emerging baccalaureate programs at the college.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Seven (7) years administrative experience, including experience in planning, research, marketing and institutional development related to post-secondary education. Experience working with senior college administrators and key college partners in legislative and executive agencies of state government.  Experience with both associate and baccalaureate degree programs.

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of post-secondary education administration and college development. Ability to work with students, faculty, and administrators. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with potential funding sources. Knowledge of fund raising and foundation practices. Interpersonal relations and organizational skills. Ability to perform research related to institutional effectiveness and develop presentations for senior managers and offices external to the college..
