The following sources can be searched on your home computer by simply clicking on the links and then entering your Seminole Community Library card number (found on the back of your library card).

  includes General One File, General Reference Center Gold, Academic, Health Reference Center Academic, Lit Finder, Testing and Education Reference Center, Expanded Academic ASAP, Informe (Spanish language resources), and Gale Virtual Reference Library
• Gale Net
  includes Biography Resource Center, Literature Resource Center, Academic One File, Junior Reference Collection, InfoTrac Criminal Justice eCollection, InfoTrac Small Business eCollection, and InfoTrac Psychology eCollection
• Florida Electronic Library
  Offers a wide range on resources including specialized digital collections on Florida, as well full text magazines and electronic reference books covering a vast range of subjects.
• Reference USA
  Comprehensive national business and residential directory. Provides detailed information on over 14 million business establishments.

Special Sources (Only available in the library)

• ALLDATA
  Car repair information for most makes and models from the current year back to 1982. Features technical service bulletins and technician’s reference.
• Ancestry—Library edition
  One of the largest online genealogical databases, with more than 4 billion names taken from census records, city directories, immigration records, family histories, etc.
• NewsBank
  Electronic archives of state and national newspaper stories. Very helpful for finding obituaries. Coverage varies. The St. Petersburg Times archive dates back to 1987; other newspapers may only go back to 1990 or later. (These are not electronic duplicates of the actual papers. Some features, classifieds, stock tables and advertisements are not included.)
