Mission Statement
The Seminole Community Library Youth Services Department promotes reading and learning as an important part of family life. We provide a welcoming environment where children, teens, parents, teachers, and childcare workers have access to information and ideas
Collections
The Youth Services Department offers a broad selection of materials for ages birth through high school. The library also offers a special Parent/Teacher Collection that includes material for teachers, parents, childcare providers and caregivers.

- Halloween Program

Services
- Provide reference and readers’ advisory service
- Offer a collection that meets the recreational and informational needs of the community
- Provide computer access
- Assist the public in the use of library material and equipment
- Provide tours of the youth and teen areas
- Schedule class or group visits
- Plan and present public programs
- Offer outreach programs to public and private schools, daycares, and other community organizations that serve children
- Provide a cassette listening station
- Provide display space for schools or community agencies
- Coordinate a Summer Teen Volunteer Program
- Supervises a Library Youth Advisory Board
