What’s the single best thing about Seminole Campus? It’s hard to narrow my experience with SPC’s Seminole Campus down to a single best thing! I wasn’t sure what to expect coming back to school at age 41. I was a little apprehensive at first, but that feeling quickly faded. The Seminole campus has a family-like atmosphere where the faculty, staff and students are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I feel confident that through the opportunities available at SPC I will increase my employability, enhance my career skills and attain personal self-enrichment.

What’s the single best thing about Seminole Campus? I would have to say that Seminole Campus is the best campus that I have been to. There are so many great things about this campus, my favorite would have to be the wonderful staff. There is such a big staff here that would do and do for you. I think that is very important. I would also have to say all the technology here, it makes it so easy to get to any kind of computer, needed for any project you have. Also if you need to print something or scan something its all there on campus. Overall its just a one stop shop for all your needs.

Spring '07 |
Name in full: Brian LeKeith Jackson
Home country: Dunedin, Florida, USA
Educational plans: I plan on entering a career that utilizes strengths in educational awareness, outreach work, and community involvement. I’ve always wanted to be an educator of some sort. I’ve entertained the idea of becoming an English teacher (which is still a possibility) but it looks like I might go in the social work arena. There I think I can do the most good and help others on a grand scale. I feel that there is so much I have to offer others in life….I just can’t wait to get started on this path. I’m sure it’s going to be a great adventure!
Future goal(s): I have numerous goals both short-term others long-term. But I’m just going to narrow it down to the “big” ones. After receiving my degree(s) within the educational field, I plan on helping others that are greatly in need of my services. I’ve entertained the thought of working in the school system or even on a state level. But I won’t stop there; I plan on continuing my education in other fields if possible. I even have plans of obtaining a Ph. D. in my lifetime. Nothing is holding me back and I’m very much aware that the stars are not my limit and I can go much further than that!
What’s the single best thing about Seminole Campus? I must say, I love the fact that Seminole Campus offers numerous activities that everyone from students to the staff can get involved in. From the “Welcome Backs” to “Food for the Soul” to the art shows which displays students’ talent of every kind. By having all of these activities and collaboration opportunities available for everyone; it will only make a better Seminole Campus, a stronger Seminole Campus. And to tell you the truth, I love being a part of a winning team. And that’s exactly what Seminole Campus is, a winning team.

What’s the single best thing about Seminole Campus? This campus has been an asset to me in many ways. To me it’s not just a place of learning, but something more. It’s almost like a big family that you can turn to whenever you’re in need of help or guidance, a place that can help you get your life on track. Not to many people know this but this college offers you so many opportunities and benefits, a great place to visit is the career center. A great quote I heard from a movie once was “you’re swimming through a lake of water screaming I thirst, what you seek is all around you”, well people, SPC is your lake, so drink up.
