Student Life and Leadership on Seminole Campus
Student Activities puts together a variety of special and cultural events throughout the year. Most activities are free to students, though a current SPC student ID is required for food admission. Events include a Welcome Back Bash, Multicultural Festival, and African American History Month Jubilee. Popcorn and Ping Pong are offered in the UP Lobby every Wednesday.
Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association is the liaison between the student body and the college administration and provide for participation in college governance.
Student Ambassadors serve as both internal and external marketing representatives for St. Petersburg College. The Ambassadors also share their stories of college life at high school assembly programs and host displays in malls.
Clubs and student organizations
Academic, special interest and religious clubs and organizations are active on SPC's Seminole Campus.
Intramural and recreational activities
Provide friendly, organized competition. Depending on the season, events like football, table tennis, volleyball, running/jogging and soccer are offered. A student lounge, complete with television, foosball, pool table, chess board, and other items can be found in the Student Center, Room: UP 192.

Individuals participate at their own risk and assume responsibility for their own health and safety. General Bulletin Boards
Be sure to check the bulletin boards on your way to classes, as most student activities are posted there.
All notices must be approved by Student Activities, which will review and post approved college related materials on designated bulletin boards on campus. Notices will be posted for up to two weeks.
By volunteering at St. Petersburg College (SPC) you can make a difference in the lives of students by sharing your special skills and talents. More than 450 volunteers currently participate in SPC's Volunteer Program. Volunteers are not required to contribute a minimum number of hours weekly. Some give as little as three hours a week, others as many as 30, others volunteer occasionally as on-call volunteers but all time volunteered is equally valued.
SPC's Seminole campus offers volunteer opportunities such as academic tutors, on-call special events assistants and receptionists.
