Student Government Association (SGA)

The Student Government Association is recognized by the College Administration as a representative voice of the student body's interests, concerns, and needs at the Seminole Campus of St. Petersburg College. SGA serves as a liaison between the student body and the College Administration.
SGA is also a member of the Florida College State Student Government Association (FCSSGA), which serves as the representative voice of all of the students in the Florida State College system.

WAVE (Web Arts & Visual Entertainment Club)

The Wave.... Web, Arts & Visual Entertainment Club fosters and champions the use of digital media in artistic, technical and educational communication. The Club encourages professional development by providing students, faculty and staff with the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and share experiences in working with digital media. The social and educational activities of the Club promote the development of professional networks that will provide continuing support as members continue their careers in digital media.
Hospitality Club

The purpose of the St. Petersburg College Hospitality Club (SPCHC) is to:
- Foster more professionalism among employees and prospective employees in the hospitality industry and to raise the standards for management and services
- Help raise the Florida tourism experience to the highest possible level
- Foster well being and family atmosphere among all members and employees in the hospitality industry
Environmental Club

As a member, you can help lead the campus by:
- Planning the Earth Day celebration
- Mentoring Elementary students
- Organizing campus clean up days
- Facilitating Environmental seminars
- Partnering with other SPC Environmental Clubs

International Club
Advisor: Jennifer Gregor

The International Club is open to both international students and U.S. students. The club members strive to promote a better understanding between international and U.S. students by introducing other cultures to the College and surrounding community through educational, social, recreational and cultural events.
Club leaders are elected annually. Officers include president, vice president, secretary, and historian. There are no club dues.
Rotaract Club

Students at St. Petersburg College have an opportunity to become involved in one of the most well-known and respected organizations in the world, Rotary International. The Rotaract Club of St. Petersburg College is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Seminole and the Seminole Lake Rotary Club. The club was established to give students an opportunity to help others by addressing the needs and concerns of the community and the world. While participating in service projects, students get to network and learn more about chosen career paths.
Males Achieving eXcellence, Organization (MAX)

Encouraging and providing resources to help men to graduate from college, they provide tutoring, book lending, support, resources, etc.
Parks & Leisure Club

The Student Parks and Leisure Services Club (SPLS) is a registered student organization at St. Petersburg College. The club is housed on the Seminole campus. The club is open to all students college-wide, enrolled in or interested in earning a degree or pursuing a career in Parks and Recreation. Students seeking employment in the multi-dollar industries that encompass Parks, Recreation and Leisure can pursue opportunities in a variety of venues including; Community or Public, Federal and State, Youth Services, People with Disabilities, Marginalized Groups, Commercial, Sustainable Tourism, Student Recreation, Event Planning, Outdoor and Therapeutic Recreation as well as Environmental Sustainability.
Student “MAC” Music Appreciation Club

Members of the Student Music Club at SPC Seminole Campus will have the opportunity to:
- Explore, Discuss, and Evaluate Various Genres of Music; including Rock, Rap, Hip-Hop, Heavy Metal, Pop, Country, Alternative, Emo, Industrial, etc.
- Access numerous songs, videos, live performances, and artist/band info through the Club Website on ANGEL.
- Local artists (singers, musicians, etc.) can upload their material on ANGEL for others to see and hear.
- Communicate, network, and socialize with fellow musicians and music fans at the college.
- Enjoy live music performances from Club members at our meetings and at various SPC events.
Future Health Care Professionals (FHCP)

- Interact and network with other members and Health Care professionals and Providers
- Develop Professional, personal and social relationships and skills
- Provides a basis for interacting with colleagues and patients
- Prepares for success in communicating, teaching, and practicing in your chosen Health Care field
- Participate in Health Fairs and community service to promote better health in the community
- Participate in occasional fun social events
- Students will have access to the FHCP Face book page, Websites for research, educational requirements, and opportunities in their chosen field
- Mentoring/additional materials for present science courses will be available for use
Spanish Club

“Unleashed by the Word” Christian Club

Unleashed by the Word is a newly re-organized interdenominational ministry committed to bringing students together in Christian fellowship. The club meetings will focus on the understanding of the scriptures and how they can have a positive affect when facing today’s challenges. We encourage students to bring their concerns and discussion suggestions so together we can grow and support each other.
Positive people bring positive results. Join us as we endeavor to live the kind of life we are all meant to live through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Savior. Our desire is to include everyone seeking to share in the uplifting spirit of the word. For those on the internet please let us hear from you if you wish to be a part of our fellowship.
